About treyled insurance
Treyled Insurance Group, Inc. (TIG) was founded in 1994 by Alan Zeplain with a commitment to providing innovative and efficient life insurance solutions. Initially focused on traditional life insurance distribution, Alan built the company by partnering with nearly 700 agents across the United States, positioning TIG as a trusted name in the industry by leveraging his decades of experience in the space.
After Alan's passing in 2008, his son, Daniel Zeplain, assumed leadership of the company at 23 years old. With a background in commercial real estate, Daniel brought a new perspective to the business, rapidly transforming its operations and strategic direction to ensure its continued success.
In 2012, Daniel Zeplain and industry veteran Larry Kachler founded Treyled Insurance, a new entity that built upon the foundation laid by TIG but introduced a more refined approach. They moved away from traditional brokerage models, establishing a non-traditional distribution framework that focused on institutional partnerships in wealth management, private equity, property and casualty, and high-end advisory services. This shift allowed Treyled to deliver sophisticated, tailored solutions to a broader range of high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients.
Today, Treyled Insurance is recognized as one of the largest writers of private equity-focused key-man life insurance in the country. The company is highly regarded for its expertise and professionalism, trusted by leading carriers for its insight into complex underwriting and business insurance strategies. Treyled continues to provide innovative solutions, maintaining a commitment to excellence in every aspect of its operations while empowering clients and partners to navigate the evolving insurance landscape with confidence.
